Long Sleeves

The song `long sleeves` explored the quiet heartbreak of feeling emotionally disconnected from someone you care about. Through intimate lyrics and stripped-back production, Brooklyn Rivers reflects on vulnerability, self-protection, and the difficulty realization that sometimes love alone isn't enough to sustain a relationship. The song captures the tension between wanting closeness and needing space to heal, with the image of `long sleeves` symbolizing the emotional walls we build to hide our pain.

About `Half Written Story`

`Half Written Story` is Brooklyn Rivers` debut indie-pop album, a soft-chaotic scrapbook of late-night thoughts, unfinished feelings, and the quiet moments that shape who we become. Across its tracks, Brooklyn leans into vulnerability rather than running from it, letting listeners sit inside the spaces between what was said, what wasn't, and what still lingers.

The album feels like flipping through a dairy left open on a bedroom floor- pages filled with half-written confessions, messy memories, and the kind of honesty that only shows up after midnight. Songs like `Long Sleeves` and `Unfinished Letters` wrap listeners in a warm, nostalgic ache, while tracks such as `Chaos in Slow motion` and `oh well` capture the restless glow of growing up and letting go.
